Goals4Girls Charity Launch: It starts with you, it continues with her

It has never been more important for young women and girls to have safe spaces where they can break barriers, pursue their dreams, and ultimately thrive. Goals4Girls offers just that.

We might have already seen over 1,800 young women and girls successfully navigate their way through over two million contact hours of the programme, but the harsh reality is that despite the tireless dedication from staff, mentors, and coaches - there’s still so much work to be done.

We were founded with a clear vision in mind – to uplift, motivate, and empower young women and girls, providing them with the tools they need to overcome societal barriers. With that said, and with over a decade of work under our belts, Goals4Girls, led by founder and CEO Francesca Brown has decided that now was the right time to launch as a charity.

Why? The world changed exponentially during the pandemic and so did our purpose, with the need to engage girls in more active lifestyles becoming more necessary than ever.

Has the process been easy? Not in the slightest. Would we change a single part of their journey that led us to this point? No chance.

We have recognised the need for focused support across some of the most marginalised communities in our society, and in working together we’ve already helped to make great strides.

94% of the participants in their programme who were at risk of exclusion last September went on to complete the academic year. While 90% of those that have joined have reported a significant improvement in confidence, resilience, and the ability to form solid friendships while being a part of Goals4Girls.

We understand the importance of positive role models and mentorship in shaping young minds. That's why we provide girls with access to mentors who share their experiences, offer guidance, and inspire them to dream big.

In the wake of the much-anticipated Goals4Girls charity launch, we are excited to share the incredible journey and unforgettable moments that unfolded on that night. The event brought together passionate individuals, dedicated supporters, and esteemed guests, all united by the shared mission of empowering young women and girls. From the inspiring speeches to the captivating performances, the charity launch exceeded expectations in every way. So, let us take you on a journey through the highlights and success of this momentous occasion, as we celebrate the impact of Goals4Girls and the transformative power it holds.
